Competition

There are two types of competitions SCDC will attend, AAU and USA Diving.

AAU Diving: This federation is the foundation of our sport and offers all levels of competition. AAU allows beginners who have been diving as little as one month to experience competitions at the fundamental level such as position jumps, and falling entries. Divers can also perform full competitive list that include dives in all directions and twist from springboards and platforms. 

AAU Meets are typically on a weekend and last 1 or 2 days. These meets are structured to encourage all levels of divers to better understand competitive performance in our sport. We strongly encourage all athletes to join these meets when they can!

USA Diving: This federation is structured around the highest levels of competition in our country. These meets are typically focused on the months of May, June and July. Divers will need to have a USA Diving membership, separate from the AAU membership. 

How to sign up for meet?

Follow the steps below to create your diving meets profile and get signed up.

1) Visit www.divemeets.com On the top right hand side you will see "Login" Hover over that to reveal an option to "Get Divemeets ID"

-  Under the "diver" category you want to click the AAU box.

2) Once your profile is made you can now sign up for the meet. Look for your "Dive meet" under the Upcoming meets tab.
